Scenes With Girls

Scenes with Girls is a sharp, witty play by Miriam Battye that provides a snapshot of the fiercely intense and sometimes toxic co-dependent friendship between two 24-year-old flatmates, Tosh and Lou. The pair have aggressively rejected "the Narrative"—the traditional societal path of pursuing marriage and children—and attempt to construct their own identities outside of male validation.
